KENSHI X OVERGROWTH

Hello guys, just remember overgrowth was a thing and am downloading my copy after digging a key out of an email that is truely ancient. im excited, despite all teh Tec demo comments.

ive recently been putting a lot of time into a game called KENSHI, i was wandering if anyone has come across it?

Its a truely unique game, just like overgrowth (and lugaru).
it has a different style and play format.
however. #if the wrold design and the objectives of kenshi were mixed with the combat system from this game. then i think youd have a reall winner.

Imagine exploring a wildernesss full of slavers, bandits, holy nation soldiers. stopping at small outposts to buy supplies, training your strength and endurance.

As you leave the town you get ambushed by 3 sand ninjas, using your lightnight quick martial arts you take down two of sand ninjas. but as you release a thrown knife in the direction of the third sand ninja, they're cleaver cuts your arm clean off. your knife hits its mark and the sand ninja drops dead. you rip up his shirt to make rags, and try and stem the bleading best you can. your arm rolls down the sand-dune.

If you survive. you'll need to save up for a prosthetic limb.
But right now slavers are pouring out of teh outpost you just visited. they heard the fight and they can see your all alone. and badly wounded.
better run.

Developers. - i emplore you to have a look at kenshi if your not familiar. im excite dto play overgrowth.

Aesthetically they're very similar, true. Especially Therium-2, so I see where you're coming from.

There's a rogue-like mod in the workshop that should provide a similar experience to what you propose, with some obvious limitations. I'd enjoy a game like this, but first we gotta see if Overgrowth's even gonna continue lmao
