If you want to get a free copy of "Receiver", read this!
Description to purchase indicates that "Includes a free copy of another Wolfire game, "Receiver"!". So my friend bought it for me, but he never received a "free copy". WTF Wolfire?

I'd say your friend probably did something wrong. Check out the FAQ: http://steamcommunity.com/app/25000/discussions/0/630799997870061871/

Secret Preorder Forum? Humble Bundle? forum.wolfire.com? WHAT? We only need a free copy of "receiver" on steam! Thats all. Why should I register a bunch of unknown sites to me, instead of just getting it on Steam?

Tell your friend to restart Steam. It might show up after that

I'm starting to think you're just trolling....

I'm not a troll, I just want to understand.

Before all that I had "Receiver", but did not have the "Overgrowth" on my account on Steam. A friend of mine had neither the one nor the other. So we decided that he would buy me a gift "Overgrowth", and he will receive a "Receiver" with this purchase. In the end, I got the game, and he's not.

Now I hope you understand that is a cheap fishing.

It didn't help, but thanks for the advice.

We give out one key with purchase, and it activates both games for you. If you redeemed it on steam, both games are given to the person who redeems the single key.

If your friend bought the game on Humble Bundle, a DRM-free version is downloadable on their account page.

We made a purchase through Steam. Obviously the single key from "Overgrowth" is activated on my account, which also activates the "Receiver", which I already have. Now I understand why my friend has not received his copy of the game. I just didn't know how it works. I thought that the buyer gets a free copy.

So at the moment I am satisfied with the answer.

P.S. I'll change the topic title to more appropriate name.
