Local Co-op

As steam says on this game, it should support local co-op. As this term has been confusing for some games i'd like to ask to you guys who have already bought it. Can this game be played on 1 pc with 2 controllers (for example me and my gf). Would like to know this as it would be the only reason to pick it up :P

Yes you can play with up to 4 players on one pc using controllers.

Well, don't know for this game, but Awesomenauts allows that : X players on 1 pc (local) playing with/against others players through internet

You can play any kind of combination of online and local play :)

trying to figure out how to get more than 1 player on local. We have the controllers in but we cannot find out how to get more than 1 character in the game.

You should be able to press select on the controllers to join the lobby, if there's room in the game you hosted.

I'm afraid not, FORCED was very much designed to work on a shared screen, and thus we've foregone the inclusion of LAN, though it's something we'll look into once we've fixed the most pressing issues, if the community wants it.

ah thankyou. got it. but we have another problem now. We have 4 xbox 360 controllers. Controller 1 works fien, Can play normally with it. when controller 2 presses select it adds 2 players to the game and controls them both on the same controller. if you dont join with the controller marked as player 2. and insted join with 3 it is fine. however 4th controller does not work at all. Any ideas what i can do to fix this? perhaps i can delete some sellings file to restore detauls incase i messed something up. all the controllers do work though we have around 30 local coop games that work no problem.

Try closing the game unplugging the controllers and plugging them in again BEFORE starting the game.
If that doesn't work, try pressing enter and write /forgetsaves. This will delete your LOCAL profile saves (nothing from steam) and most importantly your preferences, such as video and controller settings.

Thankyou. It worked. We reset the save file and all is ok. I think what happened is when the game first loaded up and the control set up came up we did it with controller 2. All is good now. we can finnally play 4 players. Thanks alot. You guys have to do an adventure game in the future i love the graphics and feel of the game. Local Coop ofc :) Thanks again!

oh just so others know. we did try the control setup again and do it with the correct pad but it did not fix the issue. the save file has to be deleted.
