Neither one of those really have the same puzzle element that Forced does, but they're both excellent games with a group of friends. Gauntlet is really all about combat- The most puzzle-esque it gets is finding hidden rooms here and there. Hammerwatch has a bit more of the puzzle feel to it, just because it's much more open-ended and exploration-based. And there are actually some simple puzzles here and there, but they're just bonus areas, really.
and subsequent to the release of Forced also the new Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.

Both are excellent games that we highly recommend, especially if you enjoy the whole action combined with puzzles thing. :)
Thanks for the answere! I've already looked into does 2 games, and I think they will be the next games to play :)

Less puzzles but it has the same feel to it.
Anyways look at the Trine games see if that might interest you and your friend.
You can try Gauntled, it is similar to forced but not nearly as good. Expect to get bored with it fairly soon since the game doesn't ramp up the difficulty by itself but requires you to just grind to level your character until you reach certain goals (kill X of this guy and now deal +30% damage to them) After that you set it to a harder difficulty and repeat everything all over again. Very boring after a few playtroughs since the passive leveling is a grind.
I really wanted Gauntled to be good since it is very similar to Forced in characters/basic skills but some things where very badly implemented in my opinion. (you get 2 basic attacks you can't change, 2 skills you can choose from a pool that's not character specific and most are useless, no real feel of progression, potions needed to use skills during games, little variation in content for the amount they want you to replay/grind to level)
Yes but from what I have seen it will not be the same. I highly doubt it is as high local-coop focussed as this one. Wich would be a shame.

So far they are only focussing on single player. From a dev:
