Have to rebind controller buttons on Linux
On SteamOS, Debian, Arch and Ubuntu this game has binds for the Xbox 360 controller which aren't quite right. With the default binds I can't attack with my wireless Xbox 360 controller.

Good thing I can rebind the controls in the menu, but it's kinda annoying.

Controllers aren't officially supported yet, but I'm amazed you made it work!
Edit: ^this is wrong, I thought we were talking about another title

Any plans to look into supporting them? I mean, it already works quite well, so it might not be an insane amount of work.

Sry I wasn't being clear I thought I was in another forum.
Controllers are obviously supported, but we've had issues with some setups not following the official standards.
Is your Xbox 360 controller the official one?

Correct. I also use the official Microsoft wireless dongle.

Ok thanks for the info, we might take a look for the next patch, but as long as the setup can fix it I hope you're satisfied :)

Hows that patch coming along? My rebind gets reset every time I start the game, so I have to do controller setup all the time and it gets annoying. I'm using an official xbox 360 controller and an official wireless dongle on ubuntu 15.04.

I can't say when a patch is coming, and I want to be clear that I can't promise this will be fixed either. There's a lot of issue on Linux that seem to differ massively from setup to setup, but if you could send an output log (go to local files and then data folder and find output_log.txt) to support@betadwarf.com we'll check it and see if it tells us anything.

Hi, we released a patch today that contains a massive rework of the input system, so I'd really like you guys to see if this issue still persists.

Thanks a lot, it works great now.
