some controller problems
i read the FAQ s but none of the problems was mine. I Use Forced slightly better edition on Steam Win 10 with 4 x box 360 Wirelesscontrollers and a receiver from microsoft. We wantet to play with 3 persons one opens a game sets it to 3 players but when the 2nd player presses (a) to enter the game he is player 2 and 3 at the same time.
when we start the game there are 3 avatars but two of them are played by the same controller. after a lot of atemts we somehow got it by deleting and entering( not as easy as it sounds because usually both versions of the doubled player where kicked out at the same time)

We entered the game and had the next problems. One of us could play normaly i had my keys totally mixed up and the third player was not able to chose skills. We tried all buttons inclluding the press on the joysticks. i hope you understand me because my english isnt very good.

It seems like the controller issues were never fixesd, it's unfortunate because that is what caused me and my friends to abandon the game, the technical issues were too much to deal with, it's such a fun a game when it works though.

I know this is a really old post but I figured it out. In the player join screen use your mouse to click the controller icon below each player to reset their controller.

Idk why it doesnt automatically do this when you join with each controller/player but this fixes it.

Old post but I found that if you change the "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" to forced off, ALL of my connected controllers are working properly! Excited to finally play co-op on this game.
