Bug in Superman Vs. Lex Luthor mission?

Hey, I've got a problem, every time I reach the part of Superman Vs. Lex Luthor, there's a bug where any Kryptonite object I spawn just vanishes whenever I give it to Supes or Lex.

It's very weird, it can't be an accross the board issue. Maybe it's another object we need? I don't see how though.

saw some vids and they gave superman the exact same objects as me... so i don't thinks it's about the object...

Must be some random glitch, then. I think there's only one thing for it, which is to attempt a reinstall. Just out of interest, can you guys get all the achievements for spawining alternate versions of characters? I'm just wondering if it's a connected bug of a corrupted download or something.

I reinstalled the game. Steam cloud saves your progress and then I coud beat Lex.

Odd. You're using Kryptonite as a property, right? So like 'kryptonite sword' or something?

SOLVED
Type in the item name, for example, "bat"
Don't press accept, scroll down to add adjective.
Now type in kryptonite.
Accept and place the item on Superman.
It was glitched for me until I did this
