WON'T START!!!

I just bought the game and when I click play, nothing happens, but when I look at my profile in the right-under corner it says for about 2 sec. that I'm playing and then it goes back to online. I've already tried to verify game caches thingy, but it still doesn't work. What am I supposed to do????? :(

When I start it with the .exe in my Steam documents, not via the play button in Steam, it says: The programm could not get started because d3dx9_43.dll misses on your computer. You could solve this problem by installing the program again. (sorry for bad English, I have to translate it from Dutch to English)

I've been searching on the internet and found this solution for a missing d3dx9_43.dll:
You go to you Steam folder -> Steam apps -> common -> Scribblenauts Unmasked -> _CommonRedist -> DirectX -> Jun2010 -> you scroll down to: DXSETUP -> a screen pops up, click yes -> Click accept -> click next -> Click next again -> wait for the installation to complete -> go back to steam -> Click the big play button of Scribblenauts Unmasked -> IT WORKS!!! (for me it worked, it may not work for you)

It'd help if it didn't keep failing and then telling me to search the file and make sure stuff isn't wrong when I don't know what to look for.
