Hi!
If you have selected a path point, you will find a button at the point to insert a new point.
You will also find the hint for the key (default C) at the bottom of the UI.
Best regards
Hannes
Since I am here I might point a fiew flaws I found in the overall disegn:
- Assets resources are undistinguishable on preview. It would be much easier on the eye to make icons. Example: stone path - fiew ovals in raw and wor path.
- It would be handy to be able to stich paths end to end to make 1 from 2
- I am surprised there's no angle snap for 90 60 45 15 degrees to make neat paths
I dont know everything and hope your software became better. It is the best tool for dnd city building I could find. But its not because it's so good but bc there's so few out there
Thanks for your feedback and ideas! :)
- Do you mean double-click on a path point? Do you know of any other tools that work like this? Then I will check how it works. Unfortunately I don't know any. I have chosen a key (+ button at the point) so that you can see directly at the bottom of the screen which things are possible.
- did you know that you can switch to displaying the objects as names instead of icons in the top right of the object tool? I think an icon for each new object, path and so on would mean additional work for me and also for users when custom assets are added.
- do you mean connecting two paths or closing a path? You can close a path by activating "closed path" at the top of the ui. Paths snap together automatically when "Snap to paths" is activated.
- Thanks for the good idea regarding the fixed angles!
Best regards
Hannes
1) You cant select nods by LMB-rectangle. You have to click on the nod precisely. This is not an FPS shooter or OSU, user dont want to aim in creative tool. pls make multiple nods seletable by drag over them (with Shift key if needed). Basic UI from RST like AoE
2) You cant select nods from different paths. Mu suggestion: make player select multiple nods and add "combine" and "connect" buttons to make them merge and connect with path accordingly
thank you for your work, I will try to provide more QOL notes. QOL is the most important in such software thing unironically. Custom assets tools is the second one
Still have to implement selecting path points by dragging a frame.
At the moment you can select multiple points of a single path by holding shift and left clicking to move them together.
Thank you! :)
