How to show a Grid on the map?

I press N to toggle grid and it creates a tiny red grid. is there a map wide grid?

Hi!

You can set the map area (for export) and the grid in the Map Settings panel.
There you will also find a "Map Size" slider. This allows you to enlarge the map area. However, this does not increase the pixel resolution of the exported image.
Unfortunately there is no "grid over whole map" function yet. However, such a possibility has already been suggested and discussed on my discord. It is also on my list. :)

Thank you, that makes sense now. I know its still early days, but would be nice to see a user guide at some point. Also I would love to see more z-axis range.
