I'm glad you like my little mapmaking tool. :)
In my tool you actually don't paint at all. It uses automatically generated elements on paths, plots and in rooms.
For example, you simply place an area for a forest or a field or draw a road with points or directly a wall with towers. You can also generate small houses on the sides of a road, for example. Or you can draw an area for a bedroom. This is then randomly filled with beds, a fireplace and boxes and carpets and so on.
Of course you can also place objects individually. Objects are grouped together. You can simply place the group and an object from the group will be selected at random. You can also activate randomize scale and rotation. For example, if you place a tree, any tree from the group is automatically placed and randomly scaled and rotated.
(It is also possible to select exactly one specific object).
Many objects are also automatically varied. E.g. the load of carts, the number and orientation of the sails of a ship or small extensions and the chimney position of houses.
Everything is combined on one map. But, there is no way to generate a complete map out of nothing.
Feel free to try the demo. :)
Best regards
