Unfortunately you are not the only one with the "new" M3 pro not working properly.
I myself use an M2 without restrictions.
It's probably because the application is incorrectly emulated by macOS because it thinks it's an Intel application. The reason may be the Godot Engine (which I use for development) and Vulkan/MoltenVK on macOS. I am still looking for the problem and therefore have no suitable solution. With MoltenVK, Vulkan (not directly available on MacOS) is translated for macOS. Vulkan is the graphics card interface:

I think I'll have to get an M3 to test as well.

Hi I have a MacBook Pro with M3 Max chip.
I still have a problem putting the building and. the game completely freezes and does not work further
M1 and M2 are working.
I will look further. See if I can find anything more specific.
There will also be a major update of the Godot Engine soon, which I use for development. Maybe there is something in it that could help.
