press windows + R, got to %appdata%
go back a folder
go to the folder named locallow
in this folder delete the pontypants folder, and now start the game its working fine
I delete the file but then everytime i open the game the rip screen appears and the pontypants folder somehow is still there so I'm pretty sure my game is just cooked.
yeh i mean the files are supposed to appear again as they are the save files and like whenever you start the game again its going to create those files back but deleting the save file does fix the game for me, IDK why its not working for you, btw there is also another thing you can try but its in the Registry editor so like you can try at your own risk.
Win + R,
regedit (create a backup of the registry in case you mess it up)
locate: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Pontypants
delete the Pontypants folder
maybe after deleting the registry then again try the appdata method because i did them in order and then it worked, so you can try this
well i just deleted the whole folder and yeh i have set the game to run as admin from start so i forgot to mention that
~~~~~~~~~~
Press Win + R,
Search %appdata%,
Go back a folder,
Go to LocalLow,
Go to Pontypants,
Go to A Difficult Game About Climbing,
Delete the "data.pain" file,
Run the game as admin
~~~~~~~~~~
^w^ Hopefully this helps! :3
ahhh ok its working now thank yous so much
