Game startup issues

Hi forums, just got the game, every time I boot it up the game crashes followed by an error message about an exception access violation, re-downloaded and problem still persists. I am super hyped for this game so any help would be appreciated.

Try booting the game forcing the GPU it should use. I have both Intel and Nvidia but it kept crashing until I forced it with Nvidia GPU.

I had the same problem and managed to get mine going. Go into your Marlow Briggs game directory files and right click on (kick_win.exe) Then select (properties) and then (Compatibility) check the ( Run this program in compatibility mode for) and select (Windows 7). Do this even if you are already running it in windows 7, as this is what finally got mine to working. Hope this is of some help as this game was surpisingly a lot of fun once I got it going.

I also have startup issues. I don't get an error and the proccess kick_win runs and steam says I'm playing it but nothing happens. I tried changing the properties to run in compatibility mode but it still does nothing. Any help would be fantastic!

Привіт. В мене та сама проблема але на стімдеку. Спробував запустити гру у співвідношенні 720 та примусово через експериментальний протон. Вдалось запустити

I don't have this problem when running my Desktop PC, however it hits the problem in Steam Deck (which is supposed to be verified)
