Why wont I touch this game?

I've seen this game on and off the steam front page for years. Looks good, looks polished
and yet I've never heard a word of this game before. Now its under $1 and Im *still* like
'mmmm, nah'

how could it not be, right? I just have this feeling that somewhere between the 15%-25% mark Im gonna be like 'I knew it' and this game will be just as vanilla and forgettable as my instinct is telling me

That game has some charm; my biggest complaint would be the restrictive gameplay -- no control over the camera, many "you can't go back" sections, and no way to select a level so you can search it for collectibles (they basically expect you to replay the game over and over again until you've found everything -- no thanks).

Everything else is rather good, especially the dialogue. Just don't expect too much variation in gameplay; you do get new weapons along the way, but other than that it's "kill everything that moves" with the occasional light puzzling.

Yeah, It's basically a cheap god of war clone with some funny dialogue.
It's best played with an xbox controller, but keyboard+mouse also works.

Combat is not that bad, some platforming can be annoying, puzzles are easy to figure out.

I could tell just by playing a few minutes that it's easily worth the normal price, and really shouldn't be missed at $1. Just my opinion, of course.
