Healing fallen party members
I've read that you can revive fallen allies in battle within 3 turns by healing them, but this is not working for me. I cannot target them with my heal spell. What am i doing wrong?

I think if they are too heavily damaged they cant be healed. Maybe -10 or something. I've noticed this too but I think that's why. Normally you gert 3 turns to pick them up.

I got it to work one time by dragging a healing potion on them, but never could get it to work with spells.

mhm, i brought someone back with -17 hp with grade 2 heal spell. just rightclicked on him to turn up the wheel and selected the heal. should work for you too...

You might be trying to click on the wrong hex. When they're laying down it kind of looks like they cover two hexes, but they're still only present on one of them.

try rotating the camera angle a bit. You get problems like this when you try to light grass on fire with a spell, sometimes the cursor doesnt like it.

Also, drag the spell up to the hotbar, and use that. the right click wheel tends to be problematic.

It only seems to work for me within one round of them dying. Once a whole round goes by the battle log says "_____ is incapacitated" and after that I can't bring them back. Maybe it's a typo in the tutorial or something.

Yeah, it seems that if you dont do this then whatever spell you select just gets wasted onto the caster if its a buff or a heal.

As long as a fallen party member is in the initiative bar, you can get him back on his feet. If you have problems with targeting your ally, try to rotate the camera up to get a top-down view on the battlefield. Also, you have to make sure, that your mage can see the ally. If he's lying on the ground and an enemy stands between your mage and your ally, you won't be able to target him, because the line of sight is blocked.

Hope that helps :) If it still doesn't work, then don't hesitate to tell us. You can also make a screenshot, if you think, that it's not working correctly and post it here.

ive been using potions/bandages from belts on other guys as well as plenty of spells including from below -10 multiple times. the GUI is dynamic. if the target is 'good' there will be feedback indicating as much...the portrait card in lower left will rise a bit, the avatar will glow, the spell area indicator comes on...if the target is not 'good' then it seems it is either line of sight or range that is the issue. you must have an action(capable of attacking) available.

Have had a problem a couple times targetting a fallen party member, but can always get them in the end. Rotating camera seems to help sometimes, expecially if the party member is fallen in an interactable tile (on smashed wood from a crate, or bushes, etc). Usually it helps to point the mouse at them directly in those cases instead of the tile?
I think dev should allows us to use items on characters by choosing the item and clicking on character's portrait, my mouse wheel is broken so I can't move the camera to the top.

I would like this, wasn't that an option in Neverwinter Nights 2? It's possible I'm thinking of another game but I still like the idea. ((Don't have the game but right now just looking into it's up's and downs)
