First i had to put the EXE in comapitablity mode with win 8 and give admin rights. This step got me to being able to play in 30 to 1 hour chuncks of time. Then it would still freeze
I had task manger open(cause i need to foce close every time the game locked up) and saw my disk was going crazy but my RAM was not being used. So i checked the paging file in resource and it was getting hit hard.
So I disabled my page file and was able to play 0 problems afterwards.
First i should not have to disable pagefile and or go into captaiblity mode with admin rights to play this game. i have 16 gigs of ram and my PC was not even touching 3 gigs of use.
This is some very poor programing happening here. I can understand a X86 game at least capping out at a 4 gig RAM pull but this is not even coming close to happening. It hits 2 gigs and then auto dumps to the page file.
- updating graphic card drivers
- updating display drivers
- deactivating VSync in the graphic card settings, for example in the Catalyst Control Center
- sometimes it is ok to enter "Alt+Enter" to switch to windowed mode. If this helps it will give you a hint which screen resolution can be safely applied.
may work for win 10 , I will reinstall at the end of the month and retry it.
The game still looks about the same running 1366x768 with low settings. Besides I don't play this game for visuals anyways
Cheers :-)
Hope i can post the screenshots, but I can give you a general idea:
Set BG to run with Integrated Graphic (google)
Run BG
Change the graphic options: VSync is on, Antialiasing is on, Aniso Filtering is on
Save the setting
Back to windows set BG to run with High Performance NVIDA Processor
Change these settings:
Anisotropic Filtering is Application-controlled
Antialiasing - FXAA is Use global setting (Off)
Antialiasing - Mode is Application-controlled
Antialiasing - Setting is Application-controlled
Antialiasing - Off
Vertical Sync is Use the 3D application setting
and viola, it runs perfectly with GT 750 M graphic card
Hope this help.
