Multiplayer???

I don't really like playing by myself cuz it's boring, will the developers add multiplayer function to the game? So I could juz buy it right now and wait

Hey, I've just found this game and it looks cool. It reminds me of some old RPG's, I'd like to give it a try but I'm also really curious if it will ever have multiplayer? When I find a game like this, multiplayer is one of the first things I check for, I believe at least some co-op mode on LAN would be awesome.

Why does everyone demand there to be multiplayer in games where Multiplayer wouldnt work? Im sure adding stuff to the game and Making the Singleplayer a more fun experience is more important than letting you play with your friend for an hour or two until you get bored. Plus you dont even own the game it says.

Why do you think multiplayer wouldn't work in this particular title? To me it looks like an old school RPG and there's plenty of space inside and also outside dungeons for a group of players. Every player could have different skills, their own gear, their own roles and they would work as a team to accomplish the same goal. I've read a comment from a player that had played it for long hours and they said it's always new randomly generated experience, plus you have level editor so it's not like you beat the game once and you forget it, so being able to play with your friends, would not make you feel bored soon, quite contrary it would enhance your gameplay experience, just my opinion. Now, it is really true that I don't own this game yet, but that doesn't mean I can't buy it? lol. Everyone is looking for different things, I still like what I see and read about this game so far, but for me personally, multiplayer would make it irresistible to purchase at this point, since it is not there at the moment, I will wait and see, after all the game is still in development and things may change. :)

yea i agree, playing alone would be boring. BTW i'm pretty sure i'll be playing more than 2 hours if i have a friend to play with.

That is by far a much richer SP experience though with complete story, games without story but repetitive gameplay need to have the friend component.

You know why he asks for multiplayer? And why he doesn't need single player? Because he wants some ACTION, EXPLOSONS, CAPTAIN PRICE SAVE THE WORLD!!!
No, seriously. This game is awesome in singleplayer, it singleplayer.

After actually playing some of the game rather than just watching some gameplay footage I think some seperate level design/generation would be needed as some level areas are a bit tight. There are open areas and it could work. Great little game - worth getting either way.

I understand why multiplayer might be nice, but I think the dev's vision here is to harken back to games of old like roguelikes, with its retro graphics and such. It's sort of supposed to be a modern first person roguelike, a genre which I think has always been in single player.
But hey, anything's possible.

hey i read all things you work on in your Roadmap descussion and they are really cool and i am looking forward to them. And its really a cool game so far. Very good artwork cool items and fighting also is a lot of fun like exploring the dungeon. But i tell you that the game could get from cool to awsome with an online coop for up to 4 players. Because what would be more fun to play Delver with 3 friends?! Exploring the dungeon togethere is much more fun then alone especially for a game like this. So pls add a multiplayer to get the game really awesome .

I think he is doing good. Even if others have wrote it before, Its good to still let the developer know this is important to him. I cant have enough of multiplayer feature demands. pls add it.

Don't need to flood the forum with multiple threads about the same idea. They are quite aware that there are people that want it and also aware of people like me who don't think its necessary. I would much rather have more content, I have enough MP games to play with people, sometimes it's nice to load up a really good single player game for some time to myself and I don't think that playing a Roguelike with a bunch of people would make the game anymore fun for me.
