Still in early access?!

I bought this game 2 years ago, almost to the day, and it's still not a finished game? What's going on here?

game is mostly finished. these last few updates just take long for some reason. they added workshop support tough wich is quite nice

You realize you can still play the game while it's in EA right? There is an a mission and end of the game that's been in place since day one. Not sure how this being marked as officially released vs EA affects your gameplay or enjoyment of the game in any way... At least in EA it's still getting updates and additional content added.

So are you complaining that you want them to hurry up and stop adding stuff to the game? I'm confused.
