med kit and defib are default either way, so that is besides the point.
Most people use the MG36. It is pretty devastating, and easy to learn, but I think that it is a good overall weapon, but not the best to perfect.
For me, my favorite is the LMG T88. It doesn't have the best DPS, or accuracy if you are belt firing, BUT it is the most accurate IF you know how to burst fire it just right.
The T88 is VERY similar to BC2Vietnam's RPK, and once you get used to that gun, the T88 is nearly the same.
If you burst fire the T88 with just the right clicks, the group is ridiculously accurate at HUGE ranges, and has enough stopping power to scare a sniper or kill a medium range target with a few rapid, timed, clicks of the mouse.
So, what I am saying is, the T88 is the best if you get the timing right. As for "perks" I usually run magnum ammo and LW Pack for mobility.
Always been playing with MG3+rd scope meself+mob spec. Might experiment with the T88 now.
