I suppose I would try the MP out and might actually like it but I'm not sure I'll get enough hours into it to really enjoy the multiplayer aspect of the game. In my experience early hours in a new MP game are often more frustrating than fun and with limited time to spend I'm not sure I'll ever reach to point of being good enough to have a blast. :)
Honestly, I'd have to say, if you want single player, you might as well invest the time into multiplayer. Even if you don't get to play it much.
It'll be much more fun as you'll likely finish the single player pretty quick. It's the same in most FPS games now. There's basically garbage single player and then you play the crap out of MP. lol sad but true. :(
If not 4,99 is not all that much money so I might just buy it and see how it turns out.
Let me not lie, I did play single player, I have this on PC and 360, I played single player on 360 but it's just the same old same old. You'll end up spending 4 to 6 hours playing.
I'm just saying multiplayer is where it's at. If you have 4 to 6 hours for single player, spend it on MP and then when you have free time, come back and play more. It's really fun. :) I only have about 8 hours on the PC version but that's because I jump between games. I've already put in over 100 hours on the 360 for MP lol.
The singleplayer of BFBC2 has been known to redeem the Battlefield series, due to the fact that public opinion doesn't really like the majority of BF singleplayers. I however, have found all the campaigns from BC2 and up to be pretty fun.
I have not played the multiplayer only singleplayer. I also tend to focus on 1 multiplayer game at a time given I am in a clan for one game. I really liked the singleplayer in this game. I believe this was the first battlefield that actually had a story line. I would recommend it for singleplayer and now is a good time to buy it since its on sale cheap.
this is my favorite fps game, i played hundreds of hours of MP on the 360 back when i used to have one
MP is very active
