It gives you more variety since you'll have more classes, but don't think that the guns it gives you are going to be fantastic. They're good guns, but nothing spectacular. Personally, I like using the m16 from time to time.

The only really major benefit that I saw when I had it (360 version) was that the Russian camo was a bit better and at times less noticed vs. the stock Russian uniforms. The US SPECACT camo is down right awful, mixing black with tan; I never found an actual use for it. The weapons eh they are nothing special to be honest as you already unlock them via progression.

well i know it is an old topic but i have a question, i reacently buy bundle with bc2 + vietnam+ that dlc and for vietnam and orginal game, i needed to type serial number but it never asked me for DLC, so i want to ask is it already activate or i need to do something to activate it?

You can check by clicking CD Key. If it's listed, it's activated. You can make sure by going ingame and look at the class loadout. Scroll down and you should see the weapon camos.

Someone answered 4 years later, so I'm not feeling that bad only doing it 2 years afterwards.

It's not only cosmetics, you get an extra loadout for each class as far as I'm aware and I believe you can choose whether you want to wear the DLC camo or not.

There should be a Redeem Code section in a submenu somewhere. From there, you can register the DLCs.
