Im not sure if this helps any buy i have a rog g751 with 4720 hq and i have the same issue some games i get decent fps and other games i get under 60 and even 10 like you. You didnt state your cpu or what you are running for hardware maybe its a problem with higher end hardware or newer hardware because this is an old game I get 70 to 80 fps with high medium in bf4

I just checked my gpu usage on this game and i believe it was running at around 30 to 40 % were in bf4 it runs around 98%

Same issue here. Problem appears to be driver version 355.82. I guess a driver downgrade would fix it.

Just downgraded an now everything works like a charm again :D http://www.nvidia.com/object/driver_rollback.html

I have been having this issue since the last two graphics driver updates.
Frustrating as hell any ideas besides a driver roll back?

Solution is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/badcompany2/comments/3jneqp/bad_company_2_performance_suddenly_very_poor_with/
Go to your BC2 folder, find the settings.ini file, then down to the "DxVersion=9" line, and change it to 9. Works fine for me, 100+ fps no lag or other issues. Nvidia gtx 970 drivers 355.82

There is no setting.ini in bc2 folder
picbois1980 Sep 8, 2015 @ 3:07pm
Yes in your personal folder: C:\Users\username\Documents\BFBC2\settings.ini
