Origin add Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (bought on Steam) to library.
Today when i open Origin i saw Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in my Origin library. I bought that game a lot time ago on Steam. Then I contact EA Support becouse i want veteran status. And today suprise. I have Bad Company 2 (tagged as "new") on Origin app too. If someone has that too?

Oddly enough, I just started Origin and it's downloading BFBC2. It's dumb, though, since I had already redeemed my Steam version key on Origin years ago. So it made a second entry. And the original one was the Deluxe edition with the Vietnam expansion (and SPECACT "upgrades"), the new one seems to be a base game with nothing else.

Same here, I'd tried to activate my key on it wa while ago, but I got the "key has been redeemed message," I opened Origin a little while ago and there is BFBC2 (with the expansion,) Glad I finally have it sorted out. I'll eventually switch it over to the origin account.

It's not a bug or anything like. Even way back then in 2010, when Origin was called EA Download Manager, you could also redeem your Steam key. And it's like this ever since as far as i know. I redeemed all my EA Steam games on Origin.

this happened to me too. not sure how origin knows what steam games I own as I have not linked my steam and origin accounts and nor shall I ever. not sure if I am happy or mad about this. either way the game is broken for me on both steam and origin. seems nvidia is the cause of it so yet another broken game to never be played by me again. :Rubber_Duck::madelf:

It popped up in my Origin library as well. It was dated Oct 19 as the day of purchase which I did not do and I don't even have a Origin key for it. Neither of my Steam and Origin accounts are connected in anyway. Might be some glitch as the same thing happen to my account 2 years when I one day opened Origin to find Need for Speed Hot Pursuit added to my Library which I already had on Steam.

Free games... not going to complain to Origin about them. lol
