The game launched in 2010, of course it supports Win 7.

Win7 Pro, 64 bit here....zero problems. Just letting OP, or anyone else know.

Also, buy this game on STEAM... forget BF3 or BF4. Both aren't worth playing. Maybe if they were free, but even that is pushing it.

Battlefield 3 was free not to long ago. Helluva game. Plus I bought BF4 and have been loving it ever since. But of course I always seem to find myself back here playing BC2.

Yep. Very yes. If you came from BF1942, BF2, BF:Vietnam, then BF3 and BF4 are war crimes (puns, get it? im so funny).

BF wasnt for everybody, people with real skill could dominate a server, which is frustrating, but also rewarding if you are skilled.

Now, BF3 and BF4 have been dumbed down so casuals won't get stomped, and that dumbing down negated any skill. BF3 and 4 are so ridiculously spray and pray. All you have to do in those game is click your mouse button to get points. In older BF games, you had to put a good amount of effort and strategy into it.

ugh.

So your system never freezes while playing BC2? Mine does so often that I stopped playing. If you know how to fix it tell me!

Ok, Saw your post there and had to offer some advise. If you are using anti-virus software, make certain that BFBC2 is clear in the firewall or be sure the AV is in game mode and BFBCV2 is alllowed. Or, if this does not pan out, you might try uninstalling the game and reinstalling. Sometimes a corrupt code is the culprit.
I have this game on PS3 and I am seriously thinking about getting it for PC.

I've already reinstalled it so I don't think it's my PC, the game is broken. You shouldn't get this game for PC it's a ripoff so avoid it.

Sorry but I think this is the worst advice ever, just because you are having problems with the game that doesn't mean the game is broken, what it means is your PC is broken and it cannot handle the game.
Have you checked your temps, your PC hardware and system resources, re-install doesn't fix anything unless there is corrupted file but steam gives you option to check for corrupted files without re-install.

This game runs great, 120 hours played and it never crashed, no problems at all, running everything on Very High.

Check and make sure your computer will support the game 100%, otherwise you will complain like this guy.
