Bad Company 2 Alt Servers/Rank Transfer - Post-Shutdown

*IT'S OFFICIAL: BC2 EA SERVERS HAVE CEASED OPERATION AS OF 5PM ET 12/8/23*

Many are not aware that while BC2 will die a sad death on console, the PC version will live on via Project Rome. It is essentially alternate servers that will ensure Bad Company 2 lives on forever and does not rely on EA. See the links below for more information on getting this set up. RIP to Bad Company 1 and Battlefield 1943 which will be lost to time on 360 and PS3! It is as simple as placing the .dll file in your BC2 folder and registering for an account at https://veniceunleashed.net/signup to use for login in-game. Cheers!

Base Bad Company 2 and BC2: Vietnam DLC are supported, however it is up to the community to spin up more servers! Project Rome supports Steam, EA, and "Free" Versions.

You should know what happen with "Revive Project" BF2 and BF2142 they realise all in best quality make own launcher, rank system, you can use there your save files to continue.

And then EA kill em because they always kill those games forever, just like Sony and dont like when somebody use and modify content they ruined
I Hate EA and Sony, i know their online games dont worth spend money for it.
Honestly you can play those games use pirate servers since first time.
The long life official BFBC2 was surprise for me.

I'm considering buying BC2 here , for project rome should i buy vietnam dlc or am i ok with just the base game?

I know game will be delisted and i don't have to buy anything to play it.
I just want to complete my collection on steam and have it in my library.

I just want to know without buying the vietnam i will miss anything?
