Battlefield 2 multiplayer with Bots

Hello All,

I just love this game, but couldn't figure out how to play it with local lan friends and add bots.
Any help here ?

Well, BF2 has a bot single player mode. BFBC2 does not. I've looked and as far as I can tell, there is no bot mode with BFBC2, not even a mod.

Napisal has created a few bot mods: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIcx-pztQ3rGfO3pbcd52OQ You can find more bot mods by other modders, just search something like "BFBC2 bot mods" on Google and Youtube. They are not as advanced as the bots from BF2 for example, but still enjoyable.

The Napisal Mod Channel on youtube covers this, but I read in the notes that it doesn't work with the Steam version of the game.

Search for "Battlefield Bad Company 2 MASE" on SourceForge if you want to know more.

Did anyone else ever find one that works with the Steam client?

Battlefield Bad Company 2 MASE
You can play BFBC2 on LAN if you want with friends. NO bots and as the things stated, wont will be soon... just on Xbox has onslaught, the ONLY mode what it has bots, but on PC there is not any not even the onslaught gamemode, there is DM,RUSH,CONQUEST,SQDM,SQRUSH gamemodes. Just and only.

Just activate the Steam key on Origin and use that version.

The Origin version is DRM free and is therefore the best version for mods.
Also, you don't need to have Steam or Origin running in the background when you have downloaded the game from Origin.
