CONNECTION ERROR WHILE ENTERING MY SERIAL KEY??
so ive been activating my product code aka my serial key after i login in to my account, but it still doesnt work, it just says connection error , then i lefvt and launch the game again and it said the same THING I NEED HELP PLEASE

guys i found out the solution you need to go to Origins.com and enter ur EA Account info if its not already on there, go to my library on the left and redeem ur product code
then launch battlefield badcompany 2 on steam and login with that account

you need loguin in EA account after you need Redeen Product code to active game online. Game is active on site no in steam

I asked for EA help, they just activate the game in my origin acc and the game works

simple fix: download origin & login (create an EA-Account if you dont have one), activate the product key in origin, launch the game through steam, log in with the same EA account ingame. (worked for me)

For anyone who can not code or serialize, go to ORIGIN.COM. 2. When the register is completed, confirm is done and go to the homepage. Click on my profile at the bottom left of the hand. 3. Then click on Edit on EA.com button on the right hand side. 4. When you look to the left, press the button to Redeem Product Code .
Then use the code received from Steam. Press next and scroll down. Press the Next button when green finishes. Go to the game and log in and you will have to enter the code from Steam again and you can play the game. Congratulations and enjoy playing lucky.

You must activate the game in the ORIGIN client.
then you can launch the game from steam
