Hosting Dedicated server?
Can you host your own dedicated server on your computer for Battlefield Bad Company 2?
i have problems finding server files.
disclaimer: i know you can buy a server, and i dont want that as i got a spare computer for hosting.

palyers not play in pirate version and no servers.
all players play in legal version only.
Server you can rent only, no other way now
also no problem find server files - but you not can find players for play

i know about zloemu, but no servers, because players not want play on unoffical servers.

are there servers that are did START by the players (host by players) (not by gamehosting with an EA license) themselves and are played by people????

show me link to servers, where players play on servers, when host player, but not game hosting, ok?

Then one of game hosting deceived me. they said that game hosting companies only with a license EA will be able to run a ranked server, so that it is visible in the General server list of players who come from steam or EA.
In this case, the cost of renting the server = the cost of the BF4 server.
Thank you, I will try to run the server in Germany, I have 2 free physical cores.

BIG THX, i long time do have servers, where using procon for control servers (BF3, BF4, medal of Honor 2010, now no BF3)
For me no problem programming any rule or weapon limit for server without any ready plugins ))

I tried to play for a few hours, but snipers really spoil the game, it's a kind of meaningless sequence of death and no fun. Some BC2 maps are highly detailed, unlike BF4 or BF3 maps, it is unique and plus smoke.

[TOP] Infantry No vehicles is server name, hosting datacenter Germany (where i host server in other stam games, minecraft, Quake 3 and etc)

i hope, players can enjoy clean infantry battle without any campers (like snipers)

About this BFBC2_Server_R34_Full.zip...

Is there a tutorial on how to do it? I downloaded it, but I saw so many people talking about Nexus and how you need to login on their forum in order to run a server on your own machine... and I was like... WTF?

Can I run a dedicated server with just the content of this zip folder and nothing else? What do I do? Help

if ur computer have dedicated direct IP, then work.
if no this IP, then ur server will be visiable in local network only, i think

But with a dedicated direct IP won't I be in disadvantage? If I get DDOS attacked, then I can't just restard my modem because it won't matter since I'll have the same IP forever. Right?

if u are afraid that somebody will do ddos attacks then order rent in some site who have ddos protecting, its will be easy for u
