Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2

Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2

Are we ever going to see Bad Company 3?
Alright guys,I had to share this with you in order to get this off my chest because lets be real...The Bad Company Series are one of the greatest games if not the best in both critical and commercial ways in the history of the entire Battlefield Franchise itself.
Hundreds upon thousands of fans have been begging to see a Sequel to Bad Company 2 for a very long time now (almost a full decade to be precise) and seeing as how DICE and EA (DICE more preciesly) are completely ignoring us by constantly making blatant excuses not to deliver the most awaited and aniticipated Sequel ever....It pains me to say but i really think that at this point they dont even remotely care about the Bad Company Series anymore at all.....
In all honesty i have to say that it is such a DAMN SHAME to get all excited each and every single 2-3 years whenever words begin coming up of a new Battlefield Game coming out and getting all excited for Bad Company 3 just in order to be completely disappointed by the time that new Battlefield game is confirmed to be just another generic NON-Bad Company title....I know im writing a wall of text here but i just really have to share this with all with you BC fans out there....

Also seeing as how Battlefield 1 which released way back in 2016 pretty much servers as a full on Reboot to the entire series by going back to the original roots....Here is my personal take on the future aswell as what i expect to see in the future from DICE and EA together....

2018 - Battlefield V or Battlefield 1944 (Regardless of the title it will be a WW2 game for sure - Still no Bad Company 3)
2020/2021 - Battlefield goes to Vietnam Setting (Still no Bad Company 3)
2023 - Battlefield goes to either the Korean War Setting or Cold War Setting (Still no Bad Company 3)
2025 - Battlefield 2143 maybe? (Still no Bad Company 3)
2028 - ????

All in all....Dice please stop making excuses not to develop Bad Company 3 for once already.....Please stop making excuses by acting like as if your team has no clue why the Bad Company Series have garnered such worldwide popularity and success...And if you really dont know why Bad Company was loved and played by such a huge number of people? Here's exactly why:

- Non linear Single Player Campaign with plenty of Military Humor aswell as accompanied by 4 extremely likeable characters
- Tighter maps with more infantry focused gameplay with a very small and reduced number of vehicles focusing much more on ground combat rather than what Battlefield 3 and 4 have created back then
- Great story aswell as if not THE ONLY Battlefield games worth playing (or at least trying) the Single Player
- Fun Ranking System,Great unlocks and a very good Progression System
- Destruction and so on and so forth

And in the end just so you know,I am not hating on anyone here nor am i spreading any hate speech against any of the mentioned companies here....But what i am indeed doing is expressing my huge desperation for the long awaited sequel which we might possibly never even see, play or witness in general....Seeing as how DICE would rather focus on the casual Battlefield experience in general rather than go back to an unfinished Spin off Series....And just so you know,I KNOW what im talking about here since ive played both games in both Single Player and Online Multiplayer experience just as i own both of those games respecitvely of course....Not to mention how DICE already PROMISED the return of the Bad Company Squad years ago aswell....Anyways this is it,If any of you are interested in sharing your own thoughts and opinions on this topic,Feel free to comment.

No you probably won't see anymore bad company games because DICE has admitted that they don't know what people liked about bad company compared to their standard battlefield games. They just assume people want more weapons, more vehicles, bigger maps, and whatnot. That's not to say I'm opposed to more content but the sad truth is that EA will do everything they can to make as much money as possible and bad company was more of a niche title, so why bother spending resources on a game that might not sell as well. BF1 sales are estimated to be at 15 million copies and BC2 sold around 9-10 million. If DICE isn't sure that BC3 won't sell better than 15 million than they're not going to bother trying it. The safest business decision would be to continue with the core BF franchise. Besides they're just going to ♥♥♥♥ it up with microtransactions to squeeze as much money as possible and I wouldn't want to see them ruin BC like that. Let's just remember it for what it really was, the best BF game and the people who made it don't know why.

I agree. EA just wants to make more money and produce crappier lazy titles. As for the community, I reccommend you get some more severs up and get your friends and familly to play before this game suffers the same fate as Battlefield 2 Revive Project! (Which EA killed off, even though it didn't cost them a dime to maintain!)

Not gonna lie to you but Bad Company 2 was my very first BF game i ever experienced online and while i didnt played it as much as i probably should...That one specific time period i did was fun at its apsolute finest,Last year i got my hands on the Original BC for the PS3 and to this day i still play the Multiplayer....Personally im gonna stick with it for as long as possible seeing as how BC1 is a console exclusive and never got ported to PC,As for BC2 on the other hand? The community will most likely take care of servers and keep the game alive after EA does what it usually does the best.....Killing off the servers that is....

Maybe you're right with all this statement about DICE being afraid of risking and taking chances with BC3 in order not to ruin their sales reputation and what not,But on another hand,Today we got another leak from a DICE developer stating how BC3 will indeed be the next title in the series....Also not to mention how AlmightyDaq also pretty much confirmed the existence of both BF games way back in December prior to Christmas last year of Dice Sweden developing the WW2 title while Dice L.A. working on BC3.....All in all what if both of the studios are bringing both of the games this year?Like what if the WW2 title becomes confirmed this year with the announcement and all while BC3 only gets a teaser trailer for 2019?Wouldnt that be great?Dont know about you man but im definetly still holding my fingers for it!

i hope not. as it would not be the bad company game that would want you play. You can still find a few full servers of orignal BC2 at peak times through the dirty origin app (EA ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it on steam after removing all thier games off steam, then re adding them, however they never added the CD-keys back, so its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if try and run through steam now). But its worth it to see what a real good ol bf game is like. its pure its hectic and its fun as ♥♥♥♥.

When EA admitted that, it made me laugh. They aren't any better than any other dev group. They created an enormously popular game, and don't know why.

Actually its DICE who gave that statement and the reason the Bad Company Series are popular and better than the actual Mainstream BF Games is because of its simplicity in style and combat,Its not an all out war scenario like the rest of the games but instead more tight, limited and primarily focused on ground combat,Btw cant believe I actually got new

Honestly I wish I can still play BC2,but whenever I try playing multiplayer it wont let me because the game is installed on a "new machine",Aka my own computer which I upgraded only twice but it seems the game has some sort of a limit to how many machines you can install it or whatever and its BS because I only installed it once before,I have a physical version with a disc though...

Either way,I really hope they remaster both BC1+2 and include the Vietnam DLC for free because I'd love to buy and play it so I can get more fun out of BC2 (kinda unfair how I cant play it anymore while millions of others are still enjoying it :P),And as for BC3?I'd say let Ripple Effect develop it entirely since they already have experience with BF games in the past.

Simple answer NO. Not with these incompetend morons who dont understand how to make good BF game. Battlefield Bac company 2 will stay in my heart forever as best shooter i ever played. Nothing will change only good memories will be cherished in my heart. I accepted and moved on.

bad company 2 was a product of its time, not in a bad way.

it was a console-based subseries that got ported to PC because Battlefield is known as a PC game. Nowadays, console can run 64/128 players alongside PC so theres no point in Dice making a smaller scale game anymore, in fact they're just doubling player counts. Campaigns have gotten more and more shafted since Battlefield 4.

I hope not, they will just tarnish Bad Company brand, DICE doesn't have the talent now to pull off BC3, besides as person above said, it was a product of it's time, multiplayer games are surrounded with so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ these days.
