Best gun in every class?

Hi guys just wondering what everyone's opinion was on what the best gun in each class was? Let's get this convo going and have some nice comparisons and reasons why.

Medic

Recon
Barrett or M24 Sniper

[HIGH]

All weapons in game are balanced. I most often play with recon class and use SV-98 for CQB / Agressive style or GOL-Sniper for long shoots.

Everyone has their own preferences.

oh come on it cant be balanced some guns are op some are bad sv is obviosly super good since its 1shot one kill at melee even in body or a saiga that 1shot in melee but also semi automatic

now what u r right about is that best weapon is more playstyle depended rather than class

Medic: MG36? It comes with a free scope.

And yeah, not everything is perfectly balanced. Pump Action Shotguns feel a bit too weak, and are outclassed by Semi-auto/Auto Shotguns.

I use only this gun and recon class

My personal preference is the Scar-L for the enginear Its basicly a 9A-91 with a larger magaine size.

9a has higher damage but there was time when 9a was just weaker version of scar

Played thousands of hours [not in Steam version] with all weapons and this are my favorites. It's obvious that some guns like the GOL, XM8, M1911 etc. are OP in this game. All in all it's a nice game and I love it. Started to play it today again with a couple of friends. BFBC2 best BF ever.


Assault
► M16A2 & AN-94 Abakan - I love burst weapons. Both are very nice
► XM8 - Is OP, but I don't play this gun


Engineer
► 9A-91 Avtomat - Don't know if this is a joke but with ACOG you can beat snipers easily
► UZI - Good SMG and looks nice


Medic
► M60 - Just OP and really nice sound
► MG36 - Free Scope


Recon
► SV-98 Snayperskaya - Looks awesome and is cool
► GOL Sniper Magnum - It's obvious isn't it?


Pistols
► WWII M1911 .45 - A true friend for all situations
► MP-412 REX - If the enemies annoy me, I use this pistol


Others
► G3 - Love the sound and a strong weapon
► 870 MCS - With slug just a beast
► Saiga 20K Semi - I hate this gun but sometimes I have to use this

any gun!
i use a razer death adder, button on the side slows my mouse sensitivity, it sits next to a button that tosses'em grenades. i could use a better mouse pad, this thing is from the 80's, got lint on it. and the KB is a shoddy insignia, but it's better than a compaq KB.

Wow thanks for all the awesome replies. Have been loving the XMBC for the engineer class and the aek for the assault. Trying to unlock the GOL for the sniper class but having a sniper limit hurts the chances on most community servers. Cheers though and continue to post ideas on more weapons!
