We mean the real first boss, the Blade on the dragon, the one at the end which you see on the timeline, not the small mini ones.
Prioritize (Arrow Damage = Arrow Distance = Arrow Frequency) > (Sword Cooldown = Sword Damage = Sword +1) > (Arrow Speed = Sword Distance = Sword Speed) > Health > Horizontal Speed
When the Health buffs start to reach 100+ prioritize them over everything else.
Near the midpoint you have to start avoiding the minion before the bosses to focus your swords on the boss and towards the end you won't be able to kill some and eventually any of the minions. If you don’t have enough time to drop them just skip them. Don’t tank any damage.
Take lifetap upgrades then 3* dragon for the first part then bow upgrades and 3* dragon for the second part and nothing but bow after that. Remember you can dodge the trash enemies to avoid taking damage though they shouldn't live that long until you get near the 3rd dragon boss. If you're not unlucky with pickups, you'll get to the "final" boss with 15 arrow count. Take the x2 arrow count upgrade and done.
You'll want to prioritize arrow pickups over sword obviously. I usually go for damage > frequency > distance > speed though if distance lags I start to make that a higher priority. If those aren't options then go for sword upgrades CD > damage > count.
After the second dragon boss, health pickups start to be bigger so my priority changes to put health just below arrow damage and frequency.
Can confirm this tactic works. Thank you!
This is what worked for me. Well... I did it a bit different. I took all dragons instead of lifetap for the first part. And used a different priority for the "on the road" upgrades. But I respected its essence and it worked after trying other approaches, so thank you!
I tend to hate getting little dragons (from non-dragon boss) just as a preference because I feel dragons are a crutch. Even 3* dragons on dragon bosses annoy me because for real builds going for max score they're wasted picks on an end build.
If it worked for making it to the first "final" boss with 15 arrows by taking dragons for first portion then it's likely that's a more reliable method than my lifetap to first simply because it'd rely a lot less on getting sufficient bow pickups to maintain lifetap health and bow damage to survive through first loop.
