Need help for sprints

Hello,
I played PCM 2012,2016, 2019, 2022 and now with 2024 it's the first time I really struggle with mass sprints. My train is very often blocked by other team trains, I have a lot of dificulties having my sprinter at the top of the peloton at 1km from the finish line, to start its sprint.
Does any one has a few tips?
Let's take a simple straight sprint:
1. how many riders do you use? 5/6/...
2. when do you start your train? 20km? before?
3. I usually start the train at 85? do you do the same?
4. do you have some generic rules for your train, like first rider 85 until km 15, then second rider to 90 until km 10, etc...
Any help would be apprieciated.
I play in "Difficult" mode.

In real life (not sure how true to the that this game is, but sprint trains only start to form in the last 10kms or so. They usually consist of around 5 to 6 riders depending on how many of the team have survived the stage.

Thank you, I saw this tutorials that helped a lot for some points but the main issue that I had seems to be fixed now with the latest patch 7 (open-beta only). My train is now less blocked by other team trains,

My sprints have been ok until recently. The final sprinter is consistently sitting down before he comes out the wheel and completely loses momentum.

The sprints are still totally messed up. I just timed my launch perfectly (so my full energy bars depleted right on the finish line) whilst I was at the very front of the race (i.e. no rider beside or in front of me except my lead out rider) and lost the sprint to someone with a sprint stat of 10 less than me.

sprinting is still completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I have guys with high flat stats who are getting swamped in the last 10km and the AI seem to have never ending red bar energy. Lead out man sprints ACC is low to not use red bar of sprinter too soon then hit sprint on sprinter with 80+ sprint and acc and he finishes behind the lead out man.

How did they break this game so badly this year?
