New sponsorsystem
My first impression is that it has simply succeeded in creating an even more bad and locked-in system for sponsors. Is it possible that the system now works in such a way that all races other than the selected goals do not count towards sponsor satisfaction?
If it fits, it could potentially be possible to win the Tour de France and still have unhappy sponsors because one's goal was to be No. 10 in the Giro.
However, I hope that there is more logic in which sponsors offer themselves when negotiating with new ones, so that it is not just random sponsors who approach, but instead sponsors who approach because the team's rider nationalities suit their preferences. Is that the case? In PCM 23 a norwegian sponsor could approach for a team with only Brazillian riders.

It's terrible. I resigned with my current sponsor and despite me attaining the objectives they cut the budget from 890K to 300K?

Other sponsors offered me 1050K though I didn't win a damn thing or do something at all.

It seems completely random. Why try at all if you're better off accepting random offfers?
To clarify: I'm playing a German team (Rad-net in default db). I didn't get a single German sponsor applying so I passed for the offers. July 31 you are left with no choice but to resign for a fraction of the budget (despite getting 95% sponsor satisfaction), leaving me with no budget to sign anyone at all. Posting here just to give people a heads-up that it's broken.

The whole target system is broken too. A Top20 in the German nats is seen as extremely difficult for me, but it's really not, while a top5 in a Dunkerque stage is very challenging yet counts for nothing.

It's possible good performance in TdF still counts towards sponsor satisfaction but it's hard to tell. I obviously can't test it with Rad-net.
My goal was visibilty 2 in Danish national championship..
I won the race.. number 1, 2 and 4..
because AI didnt do as it should against breakaway.
I was happy, thinking now I am going to get a completed goal, but it said it failed, even though I achieved more than the actual goal.
All of this sounds really buggy or just a lack of foresight from Cyanide. I think i'll hold off buying PCM 2024 until I read that it is fixed.
Yeah Im playing one of the lowest rated continental teams. A one day Continental Pro race for visibility 1, which is the lowest.
The tooltip clearly says it takes into account the top 20 in one-stage races. I had 2 cyclists in the top 20 and it still says failed.

Completely broken. How is it possible they always get the sponsor system wrong and buggy every year?

thanks for sharing, knowing that we are not alone :D
If I go to the results page, and look up the tournament there, it says Visibility 2. But the Sponsor tab marked it as failed even though Visibility 1 should have been enough.
Im sure someone used an "==" rather than ">=" in the code.
Genius.

Just tragic. It's literaly the only new feature in the game. At least have someone test it? A friend? Family member? I can"t believe I'm saying this to a dev with almost 30 years of experience.

Even if you started development a couple of weeks ago, which i assume is the case, you should've caught this..
Ich habe ein neues Sponsorenangebot angenommen und nach dem Saisonwechsel einen komplett anderen Sponsor, als den vorher ausgewählten. Ziemlich schade
I can't find any directions at all to tell me anything about goals; it seems I'm supposed to pick who knows how many goals, and DO ALL OF THEM have to be locked in for the entire year on January 8????? Or do we get to choose goals every 3 months? And someone just know what "visibility" is referring to, but I can find no instructions at all regarding sponsor objectives
I've been playing this game since 2008; and now NOBODY CAN TELL ME? Anything about the workings of the sponsor objectives?

And also how can it be a good idea that for the first time in game history I can run a mountain race and not be allowed to see on the Profile screen who took the mountain points on each climb?????
Apparently now you select the objectives for the whole season at the beginning of the season. You set a visibility score for each objective, which is your goal. From 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest. If you hover over the tooltip that describes the visibility levels it tells you what it requires.
So when you play an event from your list of objectives, you achieve the objective if you attain a visibility greater or equal than the value you selected.

Or at least that's what i expected it to be. There seems to be bug which makes any visibility level attained other than the selected one at the beginning of the season to be regarded as failure.
For example I had chosen a visibility level of 1 (the lowest) for one of the worst continental teams Im playing, and I managed a visibility result of 2 - the game flagged it as failed.
Have the same issue so it is very recognizable.

Continental Pro team with budget of 1.5 mln a year and after completing every sponsor objective (some with a super success) got an offer of 750k from the same sponsor.

On the other hand I got offers from other new sponsors between 1.7 and 2.0 mln. This feels wrong and full of issues.

Secondly, all the new sponsors have either the area World or “-“ as interest.

Thirdly, why is the whole game in Dutch but this tab is in English. Even seems the language is missing out or inconsistent.
Yes it feels very much unfinished or unpolished at the least. But modders do a better job at in anyway. But it shouldn't be nigh impossible to stay with the same sponsor..
They had one full year to work on the non-race interface, since the race is always the same thing.
They could not get even something so simple correct.
