Stuck in permanent left turn

Been playing the game for a while, enjoying it immensely. I'm a big fan of the original Carma2, and Reincarnation is just such a perfect revamped project.
However, just recently got a problem - in the game (in menus and when driving), the A key (go left command) is stuck. In the menus, this auto-scrolls everything up, and while driving I'm stuck in a permanent left turn. Outside of the game, and in any other game, no such issues. I am now unpleasantly confused.
(will file this on the official support site, but wanted to share here too, just in case anybody had a similar issue)

Nevermind, I'm not filing any official support things, because the official site is no longer active...

edit your key bindings and remove (clear) the whatever it is using the same key, or whatever it is you use. I had a similar issue with the camera view, stuck on left side view, doing the mentioned solved it for me. Hope it helps you out.

I'm having the same issue. It's not "the A key" because remapping to another key won't fix the problem, the car will turn hard left and all menus will scroll up (or the settings will scroll left, eg towards the lowest graphics setting).

you have keys that are mirrored to the keys you are using, clear those keys, and use keys for them that you wont use.

Found my problem. The game thinks my Saitek flight rudder pedals are a game controller and uses one of the axes for both steering and scrolling in the menu. Unless there is a way to tell Carmageddon to ignore controllers / joysticks completely, I suppose I have no other option than disabling it. Max Damage has the same problem as well.

Disable (clear) all your key bindings, and when you assign the keys you need to control the car and using power ups, you won`t have any issues, enjoy the Game, its great.
