A little help with Maya

Bladerune9, I'm already in week 50 of the game and I'm loving it, from the 0.09c demo. I'm sure I'll get it when it comes out, I'm counting the days. One point I wanted to understand is that I'm stuck in the story with Maya and I can't evolve (I'm in stage 2 event 4).
Is there a secret to evolving into later events? She's my favorite character, I must have already spent a few thousand dollars on her, but I still can't win her over. Help me!

I was stuck at 10/11 progress with Maya. Buying enough private dances finally put me over the top to 11/11. There are no events beyond stage 2 event 4. (as of this post) Just keep buying the private dances and you should be OK.

edit: You can verify this by clicking the "remember the good times" choice from the menu and playing "Stage 2 event 4". The final text of the event reads:

"This is the Maya's last story event in this update. Her weight will now increase every time you visit Velvet Shadows. A private dance gives a bigger increase."

You can also increase her food order size at the diner to increase her weight.
