First of all I'm a really big fan and I was already aware of the Kickstarter campaign from World of Gothic website.
I have to say, Risen 1 and Gothic games have some of the most memorable music for me for any medium, whether it be computer games, films or just music.
Risen 2 and 3 definitely missed you, though they did a very admirable job without you xd
You probably cannot answer this but is there any chance of you going back to gaming OSTs and collaborating with Piranha Bytes again? Like hopefully in Gothic 5 (or the real Gothic 4)?
Anyways, I backed you already with what I could afford. Can't wait for April 2015 and good luck man.
I bid you good luck with your project.
So great to see that the campaign is successful and (relatively) safe.
@rojimboo: Thanks, so kind of you to say that. I like the soundtracks for Risen 2 & 3, and it was really interesting for me to hear how other composers picked up my styles and themes and added their personal touch. I haven't yet made any plans regarding a reunion with the Piranhas, and they seem very happy with their new audio guy, whom I like very much. But since I'm completely hooked again for making music, I'll just wait what the future brings and focus on my private album for now. I have a day job, after all, and a massive RPG is probably beyond what I can do in my spare time ;).
@Taron: Many thanks. Great to hear my music managed to not be too repetitive and distracting. That was my main goal for Risen 1, after the Gothic 3 soundtrack was perceived as too over-the-top by many.
@Alex-X-x: Die Piranhas entwickeln ihren Stil ja eh' konsequent weiter.
@pw1108: Awesome, thank you! Your luck helped, the funding goal is reached. Yippie.

Love listening to "The Beach", "The Island", and "Harbour Town" from the Risen soundtrack. Very beautiful, relaxing atmospheric music. Timeless quality, thanks. :)
and I love other musics from G1~3 and Risen,
The Gothic 3 theme was my favourite though. I loved crossing into the desert or the snow and hearing the music change for the first time. That whole soundtrack was beautiful. I still listen to it quite regularly.
I can't wait for Journey Home! Fingers crossed for the string quartet stretch goal.
BUT... now you get the change to officially vote them, and I'll do reinterpretations of the most popular themes in the Revisiting the world of Gothic medley.
More info here and voting link here. ;)
Thank y'all, folks!
Here's a little video I made with a bunch of news, including a Hollywood singer (Avatar, Transformers) joining my music project. :)

If you want to meet me on-line, you're invited to join my Twitch live stream in the final hour of my campaign: September 20th (Saturday) at 10:00am CEST (German time).

Thanks for taking a look!

Can you tell me will there be an option in the future to get sheet music in pdf's? As much I would like to support with 30$ this month I just can't. But I will throw something sybolic from me to the "bucket" you can be shure of that. :)
And oh... I almost forgot! Welcome back. :)
Great! now you can use full orchestra to make your music.
good news!
