Problem with audio

Since doing a fresh install of windows 10 im having some problems with sounds. During cutscenes sometimes i hear the voices, sometimes i dont. Also ambient sounds are cutting out sometimes too. I never completely lose sound, just part of it.

My soundcard is creative soundblaster z and im using their newest windows 10 driver.

Played about halway through the game on Windows7 and never had any problems with sound . Only since Windows 10.

Anyone else having any problems like this or happen to know a fix?

I dont know if its win 10 to blame.
Win 7 here, no hardware or driver changes whatsoever on my PC and yet the sounds on Antigua are completely messed up, very similar to what you are describing. Did not notice any issues elsewhere, just Antigua.
Probably the new patch to blame, i assume/hope they will fix it in the following weeks.
Once the dust settles a bit maybe we can make a patch bug thread...if we make it now it will get burried within minutes.

Never had problems with sound, now after 20 hours + first time on Antigua i have missing sounds...

Appears it must be a problem on Antigua then , because after some testing i didnt notice any problems anywhere but there.

press ctrl + f, type "maxchannels", press enter and change number in brackets in "MaxChannels="x""

i know were to find, but in my config it show´s MaxChannels="128", so on what value you increase it on your config ?

i set 512 but try whatever you like, just make back-up

I had the same problem after the update. Changing the maxchannels to 512 fixed it for me as well! Thanks :)
