Game crashes on startup

When I double click to go into game it gives a logo : "Risen 3:Tiant Lords" then my screen is black and then it goes back to my desktop, please help fixing this problem

If you're having a 64bit operating system, make sure that there are no other files than .pak in the data\packed folder in your Risen 3 install directory, something like
..\Steam\steamapps\common\Risen 3\data\packed

i started the game now as an Administrator and it works

Thank you so much, and it solved my other issue, that my menu been bugged like this http://jpeg.cz/images/2016/02/08/IQjyz.jpg , now it looks normal again, THANK YOU SO MUCH !

None of the above worked for me. I just switched off nVidia Shadow Play and now it launches! I'd played most of the game with ShadowPlay switched off and I'd forgotten that I'd recently switched it on and this is when the game started crashing on startup. I'm right near the end too, so you can imagine how I felt with the game just starting to crash on startup.
