I need to learn sneak for a quest but...

I am doing a quest in Tacarigua and need to sneak to steal something from a chest. I just found out that I need to learn sneak from a trainer in Antigua but I cannot leave this island to go to Antigua because my quest will fail. What can I do now??? Please help!

Thanks, I actually figured that out last night and used the parrot spell to get up to the second floor, I wasn't detected when looting the chest :)
