There has to be errors, what are the crash reports saying? What do the errors in Windows Event Viewer say in regards to the crashes? Have you verified the game's cache?
The problem is that there are no error messages showing, it simple seems to kill the 'game process'. Like when you would press ALT+F4
Or is there some hidden logging I should check?
Yep its the game i can run games like metro last light or borderlands 2 for hours with no problems!!!
Thats because u either dont have a six-core or a sli-setup.

It happens after saving a game, but not every time which is odd. I have set Risen3.exe to always run as administrator, also when I start it askes me if I'm sure I want to run it as administrator for steam.exe and risen.
I, on the other hand, have a seemingly unique issue where whenever I want to alt-tab or manually save, my character gets stuck running forward, requiring nothing less than a restart.
It's a software issue you noob.
For those with a similar problem, I've been using quicksaves (F5) only now, no problems with that for some reason. I've finished the game already.
