What is the "adventurer's garb"?
I just got past the intro, and I'm wondering what the actual items are in this DLC?

I actually forgot I was supposed to have those when starting because of prepurchasing it. During the intro mission I don't think I had them. When I was free to go where ever I wanted for the first time I went to the Thieve's Island. Still had hardly anything in my inventory. When I sailed to the Mages Island all of a sudden the items showed up in my inventory. They may have actually showed up when I first found someone with whom I could trade with. You get some jewelry(enchanted), pants, coat, hat and boots.

It's just a basic set of clothing to get your started, it's not much better then what you leave the island with but it helps some. I believe I have a screenshot of it but for some reason Steam still has Risen 3 screens set to Private and not showing game time (I guess since it's only released in NA right now)

Hmmm...I thought it was significantly better than the gear you leave the Crab Island with, but I guess that depends on your definition...I went to Antigua first (the Pirate HQ), and just suddenly discovered it in my inventory. I was wondering if I picked it up somewhere without realizing it, but it seems that it just shows up among your possessions when you leave the tutorial phase of the game and can go where you want...

It appears in your inventory once you enter the second chapter (once you leave the crab coast).

I actually sold it after 2 or 3 hours, because I felt like it made me to overpowered.

Yeah i feel the same. You need no other clothing till you rank up to rank 2 with your faction and then you get the new armor for free. And: you can tank EVERY enemy except lindworms and some bosses with it. It kinda ruins the way-to-power/yet I'm poor-feeling, making the game much to easy in the beginning.
