Low FPS "fix"

Open web browser in Steam overlay. Open a news site or game wiki. Close Steam overlay. For some reason this boost my fps from 30 to a solid 60 on highest settings. www.tacobell.com only gave my 40 fps. Seems like sites with ads work better. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird.

Just found also that setting the gpu vsync to fast mode has the same effect.

It doesn't work with anything I tried, your method, ini etc... idk what to do anymore (and I have nvdia geforce gtx 1000 series)

Your trick with the website works, but for me it boosts from 0,5-1 fps to estimated 2-3 fps... So still not playable :(. Also the other fix with changing the config sadly did nothing for me.

I think I found the fix. The problem appears if I alt+tab out of the game too many times. I played without alt-tabing and it's working great (60 fps constant).

Did you guys try all the different v-sync settings on your gpu?
