But for both games the DLCs consist of two little islands and can be visited when you have the proper DLCs.
I think it will just update your game once you'll have bought them.
In Risen 2 it adds some characters on regular islands which will grant you access to the islands. You'll just need a savegame before the Water Temple as you can't travel anymore after that.
For Risen 3 you have access to them since the beginning of the game. You just have to select it when set sail on your sloop/ship.
I haven't finished Risen 3 yet so I can't tell you if you can sail to any island after the end of the game but I guess it will like in the previous games.

I'm not talking about any new DLC's.. I don't have Fog Island and Uprising of the Little Guys, that's why i'm asking if a new game is required to apply them to my playthrough or can i use my old save.
Should show the two new island in current game. If not may need to start a new.
