Ok the two crap characters suck hard, but….

Now that I am over it, some great news actually:
- game seems to get its matchmaking and netcode in order
- this game is going to have HUGE post-release support, if what they promise is true: they are aiming for new character every two months, and an “everyone [from fatal fury] is here. Not to mention best competition scene.
- the game is fun, with lots of potential.
- even the single player content and lore seem rich, fighting games standard I mean. With Fallen Rock, Nightmare Geese and Kain’s sister (who seem to be all playable btw).

I will actually get it, but I am very very salty they were dumb enough to make it a MUGEN with trash characters and even trashier animations (and yes seems unpopular but I REALLY like Freeman) because even devs did not want to work on them.

What about you? Still salty? Think you will get over it? Maybe wait for a sale?

Plus I forgot, sadly Rapistino seems very strong btw (I could be wrong, don’t take my word for it). DJ Nobody I am not so sure.

I'll wait for a sale of at minimum 50%. I'm not willing to buy a game with real people advertisements per fight so soon.

DJ Cappuccino won me over with his over the top style and videos. Ronaldo, I could do without. I never stopped being interested in the game but I would lie if these irl inserts didn't sour my enjoyment a bit. I'll get the game eventually.

I'm not so sure about the netcode. It's "ok" at max, nowhere as good as Street Fighter 6. I got 3f delay with 3f rollback on a under 100ms ping, this is way worse than other current rollback netcodes.

This new announcement appears to have made as damage control.

They have the intention to have 30 characters, but now knowing who they are nullifies this info for me.

Why not expose the full plans? So we can know if this is something we would like to support or not?

I'd be surprised if they really have a plan. They announced at least 3 seasons of DLC, what's quite the declaration given they don't even know if the game will sell enough to justify this. Que sera, sera

This will probably be SNKs biggest game, it has Saltiva Ginnichi in it and he looks great, but also SNK are not the kind of company with a ton of money, they can’t just pump out a new game if this one doesn’t do well. They already committed to this one.

I'll give the game a go. Aside from cringing beyond space and time at them adding "CR7" (I didn't even know people referred to him like that) and the other dude, I was interested in the game prior to all that coming out. At best, I'll like the game and have people who play those characters to beat up online, which would make me happy. Worst case I'll dislike it and refund, ez.
