Bro is it just me or is everyone a pro level player? Im stuck in Rookie because i go up to C and drop down. Thats no problem because im still learning but im getting annoyed fighting Rookie 3s who are doing 30 piece combos with perfect guards and space control.

Then when i win a few i get matched up with B 1s who wash my dishes. Not gonna lie im losing the drive to play because the match making is sucking the fun out of the game. A good fight where someone is slightly better than me is cool and i learn a lot but i wont learn anything if im getting stuck in combo loops and zoned into oblivion by people who clearly shouldn’t be fighting me.

I have the game on PS5 btw.

Something that can help you a lot to improve: play in casual and when you loose, continue to ask a rematch. Sometime you will have someone cool who will be agree to play with you for a lot of matches, you will improve faster because you will learn to read his habits and exploit his errors faster.
It's difficult to read someone you fight for the first time. You'll need a lot of experience and practice to do that. And learn to use your cancels, safe jumps, feints, +frames and jab to trap people.

There's all level of players right now. Many people copy the combos from streamers or youtubers. You can do the same, what is important is if you are having fun with the game. Focus on that.
