Anyone got some tips for a Salvatore player ?

I legit believe he is the worst character in the game right now :

- How does he work on ground ? Should I aim for counter hits with my neutrals ?

- The only way i can do something after a jump is if I cross up with the jump.LK...

- ... and I can only hit with a Light button after that, it's fine because double LK is my combo starter but if I'm one f*king pixel too far : I miss and then characters like Gato or Dong punish me with a Heavy Kick into a combo and melt 60% of my health.

On a personal side : I have no idea how i should wake up in this game. The moment I hit the ground, my opponent is feasting on me with a gazillion EX moves safe on guard, with a special mention to Dong who can mix some low and overhead and if it hits me : 40% to 60% health gone. The only thing that works is spending a bar to do my Counter Super but that doesn't seem right, there has to be something i'm missing.

Any tips on the DJ dude ? I'm out of ideas.
