Well I watched it again and knowing now the old guy is speaking turkish while everyone is speaking english it is a weird joke that I never noticed before. This is like calling all mexicans lazy or something I guess.

I would say that "joke" is done in poor taste but not racist. He isn't speaking English because he is supposed to be dumb (that's why he is so old in a class of kids, get it?), I think he speaks Salvatore's native language.

No, it's turkish. Check with google translate and listen to the audio. I checked swedish, bosnian and turkish audio of "I want to be a poker table" and he is definitely not speaking swedish or bosnian.

I too initially thought that was Salvatores language but it is not
