Haven't seen one Stupid Controls either and I don't think I will, that instant button crap is disgusting.

The matchmaking is good for me. The gameplay is wonderful, old school with a lot of mindgame. We didn't have that since Street Fighter 4.

Just like with every fighting game by a big developer..I won't buy it before the complete edition is available anyway. Buying a fighting game at launch these years is almost always a fail.

But anyways to avoid it, ask yourself how did it all start.. What was the first hit?? Was it a jump-in? A Wild Punish? Up your defense game against those (don't be so easily punished) and you will improve a lot.

This is a hardcore fighter loved by hardcore people, like myself. If you dont' like fighting games, you will get bodied jumping into this.

the days of a game coming out that everyone is coming in fresh/new on are truly behind us. of the five matches I played online all of my opponents seemed to have already figured everything out lol. dying genre

Yeah, set yourself to newcomer and get matched with someone who already has multiple combos and routes of countering everything. I see no reason to even play this game as a beginner instead of Tekken 8 or SF6 since matchmaking is so skewed,

Happy to ignore this pointless title when KOF did things better.
