Who are you replying to? No one mentioned anything about "woke." Though since you brought it up. Woke, or at least the bastardized translation of what it once meant, is a neo-nazi slang word for anyone who isn't a white, blue eyed skinhead. It has nothing to do with who gets hired or forced representation. It's outright deep-state nazi hate speech against anyone who doesn't look like a pict.
China is as communist as 99% of democracies are democratic. Also China is less woke than the GOP right now.
China =/= Chinese government =/= Chinese investors/companies
Saudi Arabia =/= Saudi government/kingdom =/= Saudi investors/companies

The sad part is the fact that the East Asians in Japan and South Korea nowadays think that if you are against woke, it means you are against transgender "only". This is basically what happens when the West has a full control of the entire planet as the West basically dominates the entire world through entertainment, politics, economy and everything. The West completely succeeded on brainwashing the East Asians, making them think that if you are against woke, then you are only just being against "transgender" people which is hilarious. There is a reason why the current U.S. administration does not really say that they are talking about "race" when they say they are against "DEI", when in reality that is really what they mean.
But what do you expect? Japan, South Korea and such East Asian countries' economies have completely collapsed and they need America's mercy to even stay alive in today's day and age. This is sad.
Saudi Arabia is ruled by a monarchy who leeches on vast amount of oil and crush any opposition, they dont work or build anything, they just pay people to build stuff with their oil income. They crush creativity with the extreme religious moral police. Desperate to improve their image, they bought one of the most culturally important companies SNK. Its ironic that they suppress creativity in their own nation but they go out and purchase a company that was built not on creative oppression. The only reason why they get a pass is because Saudi Arabia is a US puppet.
The level of dysfunctional elitism these Saudis have with their wealth and how they try to push their football clubs and spotify list on a videogame should tell you how messed up their wealth and power have.
Saudi Arabia is a population of 33.3 million. If you genuinely believe a society of that scale can subsist and survive by not working or building anything and merely living off oil, you didn't quite think this through. In the least, it shows your economic illiteracy and/or how easily you get talked into believing all kinds of things.
I will not contest that it's a theocracy but us in the west religiously believe in democracy, sometimes even justify unconstitutional war with christian/jewish faith and scripture and we murder more innocent civilians than the arabs. It's actually not even close.
Fundamentalist Islam may invoke thought policing but woke leftissm and right-wing zionism isn't any different. They will try ruining you here if you assert there is only two genders or if you question whether genocidal settlers from eastern Europe are entitled to land and resources of a different people in the middle east.
Since you're conviced the Saudi kingdom - and every single saudi individual private person - is just puppeted by the US, why do you even complain about Saudi Arabia. A puppet only does what its master demands it doing.
Also not sure what any of that has to do with SNK and FF CotW. Your babble makes no sense. Did the Saudi king buy the franchise and now forces all female characters into burqas? What are you even on about?
And noone forces you to buy a product. Noone forces or pushes anything on you. It is your money. If you prefer keeping it over having the product, you are 100% free to keep your money and enjoy keeping it. Vote with your wallet and not with fake outrage and propagandists' lies about a country you do not understand anything about it.
